I really enjoy the teaching. They have a great young adult program with lots of opportunities to meet people and live in community. The worship is upbeat and does a nice mix of songs. They are professional and have hearts for worship without making it a full concert.
Attended "How We Love" seminar in how to enhance your marriage right here this weekend. So blessed to participate now for the 3rd time. I'm a much better husband, father, and brother now that I understand me. Whether your spouse participates or not, do this for you - it will be mind blowing figuring out why you....are you. I promise you this will be life changing. God Bless you.
The Pastors and staff are legit! Wonderful church, solid preaching, and they have great kids programming. We've made lots of friends and the people have become a new set of family.
Our family started attending RBC in June, 2011 when we moved to Loudoun County. I love RBC because
- It is a bible-based church to the core. The Word of God is preached and taught without any deviation to the left or to the right which helps me to be clear and confident. I understand every person is unique and have their own personality but what has helped me is the tag line "Do not look at the messenger but to the message". 12 years is a solid time period to assess and I have consistently found RBC to be a church that adheres straight with what the Scriptures has to say.
- The church is family-friendly, emphasis on community with active and strong partnerships with local organizations and institutions like Guilford Elementary school, children's ministry is safe and fun, youth ministry is excellent, young adult ministry is solid, there is something for everyone no matter your age and missions, local and world missions is of prime importance and focus of RBC
- It is a people friendly church, a perfect hospital for imperfect people like me where I have never felt condemned or judged or discriminated but always felt welcomed, respected and loved. RBC is an example of encouraging true diversity.
- I will end with this testimony, RBC has played a key, vital role in helping me become a little more like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ every day and I praise God and give thanks to God for RBC with a grateful heart.
Some of the members are dedicated to knowing scripture and fallowing it which is what Pastor Mike Minter labored to instill. But recently Paster Jim Supp has taken his place and it is like viewing a teenager. He lacks maturity in the scripture and his nature seeps through in his attitude toward the congregation. Very immature and a lot to learn. It can be rather ugly, and I do not have that "time or patience" and have gone elsewhere. Put on the armor of God by studying the scripture yourself always. I was fortunate I started off that way before going into any of these places. Warning, he has a very low perspective of women.
We love RBC. Their teachings are truly Bible based. The people are welcoming and the pastors are kind. We are very happy to call RBC our church!
This church misses Mike Minter a LOT -- he's now a teaching pastor in TN. Jim Supp, who was exiled from MBC in 2014, is an average pastor with average knowledge, average presence, and average andragogical skills. Attended for about 2 months after Mike left and couldn't take it anymore. Skip this church and drive to Cornerstone Chapel instead.
My husband and I have been looking for a church to call home for months. We came across RBC and after the first service, we knew it was the right place for us. Most importantly, it teaches the Bible as it is written; it teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has a diverse community of believers. Additionally, it’s integrated into the community and hosts a number of wonderful events.
